in other fun news, thom mayne was named the pritzker prize recipient for 2005. finally! i was wondering when he would get the due respect he deserves. thom mayne and morphosis have been designing dynamic architecture for decades now, articulating forms and ideologies that pretty well influenced me for five years in school. ive seen him lecture a number of times in school as well. hes very tall.
two of my favorite architects winning the pritzker prize back-to-back. good times…good times.

I wonder what kind of craziness you’d come up with if you were a hot shot architect w/a huge budget. I think it’d be badass. Quick! Someone give halo a billion dollars!
do not, i repeat, do not give me money to design a building for you. i have a strong inclination to design building with sharp pointy edges and surfaces that will more than likely either poke your eyeballs out, or if you trip and fall, will impale you.
See, but that’s what would make it so cool! Your building would have a built in ER out of necessity.
