its always a task to explain the difference between a nerd and a geek. see…i have no reservations of calling myself a nerd b/c nerds are redeemable. they’re brainy…not losers. geeks however are more along the lines of fanboys and socially inept ppl. the same ppl who dress up as obi-wan kenobi and gandalf at movie premieres. einstein was a nerd. harry knowles is a geek. easy enuf? so already having scored 50+% on the nerd test, i went ahead and took a geek test too and scored a 33%. total geek. feh. better than extreme geek or geek god i suppose.
tien also sent along this coo article about roy lee…the crazy mofo behind the acquisition of ringu for american cinemas. hes the guy whos bringing over a boatload of asian movies for america to remake…and he doesnt kno shit about asian cinema. scary eh? anyhoo…u have to applaud the guy. even if he’s in it solely for profit-making, he’s at least bringing attention to asian cinema. jus dont piss him off or he’ll sign u up to porn sites.
