who remembers mr. wizards world from the 80s? i just got a massive 80s flashback as i read a recent interview the ny times conducted with don herbert…better known to countless aspiring scientists and pre-adolescent macguyvers as mr. wizard. i wish i could recollect specific details better other than the fact that he did funky experiments with kids in his kitchen (hmm, that doesnt sound good). and apparently mr. wizards world was merely a latter-day incarnation of his earlier 50s show watch mr. wizard. things you learn. anyhoo, reminisce…then recollect one of the better mr. wizard homages. an episode of that old abc show dinosaurs, where mr. wizard blows away his kid assistant. “looks like we’re gonna need another timmy…“
