current selection | chemical brothers – where do i begin
sunday afternoon…hoo. allergies have been making me pretty cranky lately. well, not really lately…more like this entire past week. last nite was a nice distraction tho. went bar hopping to some new places we’d never been before. we started at the boxcar lounge in e.village. pretty coo place…very relaxing. they had a garden in the back too, tho it was kinda cold outside so we stayed indoors. after the first round, it was off to drinkland down the street. very chill place…nice crowd and coo music. 2 more rounds and then we’re off to openair. -correction- wow, for once marisols the one refreshing my memory. we hit liquid b4 openair, but the crowd at liquid was bleh…so we left post-haste. then we hit up openair. not much of a crowd, but the interior was pretty sleek. after another round, we’re off to sin sin. there was a cover…so since its cheap-nite for us, we skip it. we then end up at crif dogs to rejuvenate ourselves. i got a new yorker, and was contemplating a chili dog too…but that mightve been overkill. anyhoo, last stop of the nite was lit. the place was pretty….uh, eclectic. 80s music, odd crowd, some vampires downstairs, and i was getting a weird vibe. wasnt really feeling it, so i sprawled out on a bench and professed my utter disinterest. juvenile, yes? woo. we left around 4am. everybody cabbed it home except me….i walked.
i was planning to go biking today since it looked nice out (a little chilly tho?) decided to finish up some illustrations first tho. “finishing up” turned into the entire afternoon…and now its 7pm. so my ass has been on this seat all day…feh. ah well…at least the illustrations are done and up. woo! check it out….ima and matriarch. time to start my next illustration.
