woo…so ive jus been informed one of our offices was broken into last nite. go east williamsburg! one of our offices on the far end of the street (above a hardware shop) was broken into…apparently to try and get into the shop below. i dont necessarily condone theft, but shit…these guys were stupid. first off…why a monday? what shop has excess money on a monday?? second off, they tried punching holes thru our floor-plate to get to the shop below. a floor plate…good job. they then knocked out a wall instead in our stairwell to get into their store and made off with what someone told me was in the excess of “some coins.” good job boys. then when they tried to get out, they decided to try and tear thru some more walls (as opposed to jus going back upstairs and out where they came in) and fucked up our downstairs bathrooms and storage closets. so lets assess their take. minus 1 ladder (how they crossed from the adjacent building to ours)…abt $100 (mebbe stolen). minus alot of back-breaking work…future back problems. plus “a few coins”…enuf to pay for tomorrow’s coffee. this adds up to….a whole lot of stupidity. super.
