and now for some seriously coo movie news. back in the days of liquid television, one of the better shows on was aeon flux, a series of animated shorts by peter chung. the show basically revolved around aeon flux, an assassin and spy who went around killing mountains of people, and then would pretty much die at the end of every short. it eventually got its own full show, and rocked all kinds of coolness. the idea of making a live-action movie of aeon flux had been tossed around for sometime now, but its been basically stuck in production heck since. today tho, cinescape reported that not only was the movie close to taking off, but theyre in talks to have charlize theron as aeon flux! woot! to be honest, shes not exactly the first person to pop in my mind when i think of aeon flux, but hey…shes hot and she can act. charlize could potentially rock much, tho she would have to shed some pounds to look like the lithe aeon flux. if i had it my way…i wouldve promoted keira knightley for the role. and not just because shes no2 on my hotness list. seriously, did you see her at the pirates of the caribbean premiere? thats aeon flux. charlize theron tho, she could rock too. here’s hoping she takes the role and straps on some leather dental floss…

You forgot to mention the sex. I seem to remember heavy sexual overtones to Aeon Flux, so they better pick a hottie to play Aeon! i wonder if they’re going to keep her gravity defying hair style true to the original…

Are you KIDDING ME?!! Shannyn Sossamon looks sooo much more like Aeon! Dark and wry expressions, and that oh-so Monican emaciated body/face! Don’t ya see it?
holy shit…now that u mention it, id have to agree with you 100%. good call there. and shannyn sossamon is definitely hot enough to be aeon.
I TOTALLY think that Geena Davis is perfect for the starring role of Aeon Flux. I mean, just look at her facial structure!
And the stunts she did in Long Kiss Goodnight had Aeon written all over them! Sure she’s a bit aged, but I think she fits the mold.
Either her or Sigourney Weaver..I mean, you have to admit, “Ripley” is pretty solid for the Aeon role.
Am I right? Or just too hopefull?
P.S. Charlize is WAY TOO soft for this role, unless she wants to rock it out like madonna!
well geena davis is pushing 50, and sigourney weaver is over 50. i think that they were going more for someone young to play aeon.
and yea, charlize might be a little soft for the role…but ill still give her a chance. i still think diana made the best recommendation of shannyn sossamon for the role of aeon.
