hmm…childhood. tough one. short of putting up embarrassing photos of my pre-adolescence, i thought this would be a nice entry. its the train platform at kuang-fu, taiwan…my mothers hometown and where i was raised briefly before we hauled our butt over to the united states. kuang-fus a small rural town near the city of hualien in central taiwan where alot of indigenous san-di (mountain) people still live. its become a bit of a tourist spot in recent years, but other than the highway and some modernizations, the town hasnt changed all that much in 20something years.
