shit, another draw. this is 2 years in a row now. but even tho it was a relatively short game (27 moves) and they drew, it was actually a pretty vicious game. kasparov, as black, stated that he wasnt going for a must-win…just that he would take whatever opportunities were given to him considering that white usually controls the momentum of the game. overt tactical posturing gave way to hi-shooting and tactical trades that basically took away all the big pieces pretty quickly and left both sides with a rook and a queen each. while a draw isnt a bad thing, i was hoping for kasparov to reaffirm the human qualities and tactical nuances of chess. *feh*
