i got myself one of those quickie astrology readings…jus b/c astrology fascinates me. the one on astrology.com is particularly interesting b/c not only do they ask you when you were born, but also what time and where (to determine what stars and planets were overhead). so i got this mini-report about me. lessee my score card.
section 1: how you approach life and how you appear to others
you have a sensible and realistic outlook on life and your two feet are always planted firmly on the ground (though you may, on occasion, have your head in the clouds). – straight up – others often see you as a rock of strength, solid, reliable, dependable, and constant. – really? – you are, in fact, amazingly consistent for you possess great powers of endurance and do not like to make changes or adjustments in your regular routine. you do things deliberately and methodically and do not easily accommodate the unexpected. though you have a gentle, even soft, appearance, you are enormously strong-willed and stubborn. – fuck you stubborn! – you go at your own pace and refuse to be rushed or pushed into anything before you feel sure about it. – yea…ask my supervisor – you can be coaxed and persuaded by charm, beauty, love, or affection – but never forced. you won’t fight either, but simply stubbornly resist any attempt to coerce you to do something you do not want to do….
section 2: the inner you: your real motivation (these are contingent upon my approval)
proud and intensely individual, you really want to stand out, to be the very best you can be, and to be recognized and appreciated for your unique contributions. doing something well and being respected for it is extremely important to you, and you cannot tolerate being in the background, taking orders from others, or being “just one of the team”. – team schmeam – you must put your personal stamp on whatever you do, and direct your own course in life. you need to have a place where you can shine, express yourself creatively, and be the one in charge.
