a good weekend

ah, the mid-week entry. theres a rarity. ive been admittedly distracted alot this year, but i found myself with some “me” time tonite…woo. 2008’s been a good year so far. theres already alot to look forward to. i have a niece coming in the beginning of february (according to my sis), i might be sent back to amsterdam mid february (hai lysha!), and im also currently looking to buy a condo in the city…omg! wait, did i ever mention my sis was pregnant? lemme go scan my entries…

*interlude*

h’ok i did…ha. thought i mightve completely forgotten to mention that. anyhoo, shes due supposedly the first week of february. holy shit! shortly after that, ill be heading back to amsterdam (well if my boss has it his way) to work on some animation, and when i get back in march, its time for minks wedding. whew! ok, so before all that happens, rewind to the weekend recap.

FRIDAY
i didnt do anything friday. but it looks all neat and orderly when i bold the word “friday” and then write some nonsense below it. there we go!

SATURDAY
…was a very good day. i messaged ky to see if she wanted to go see the ingo maurer exhibit at the cooper hewitt, and she said yes! yay! the ingo maurer exhibit was pretty nice, and maybe some day ill even be able to afford one of his light sculptures. the exploding smoking hanging car thingy especially was…wow. the exhibit was nice, but good companys even nicer. im going to be purposely vague and anonymous tho because i have no idea what im doing. until i do, ill just keep the details brief. we did finish up the night tho at casa mono and then ten degrees. very good day. i need to go consult my “girl” advisors tho…

SUNDAY
…was open house day! i met g+r at their apartment before we all made the trek up to washington heights for some real estate shopping. damn, washington heights is far. but it might be my future neighborhood, and it was right next to fort tryon park. mmm…cloisters. the apartments we saw were pretty nice, with one specific apartment especially nice. now all i need is my dad to get off his buttocks and move on it! move it! yargh! but seriously, size, location, everything was gorgeous. ill hopefully be able to have a talk with my dad this weekend…talk some sense into the man.

and now…a recycled image. hooray!
