word, the new trailers up for aeon flux. well…actually, its a few days old. but the first trailer was up on mtv‘s site…and they suck, so i couldnt watch the trailer. thankfully tho, its now in a nice and big quicktime format, so we’re good to go. the trailer is…actually pretty coo! i was admittedly a bit underwhelmed by the pics that have been surfacing the last couple of months. but i guess aeon flux never looked that good static. its always been more fun with aeon ninja-flipping all over the place killing people. and while the old dental floss outfit is still missed, im upgrading aeon up from yawn to ooh goody (i wouldve seen it anyway, mind you…)

oh yea…almost forgot. there are new pics up of matt damon in a police uniform from his upcoming movie, the departed. what the fuck is the departed you ask? hehe, surprise…its the name of martin scorsese’s remake of infernal affairs. so i guess these are some of the first pics from the movie. the site thats linked states that the movie is “inspired by” and not actually a remake, given the numerous cultural identifiers of infernal affairs, but that the premise is straight up from the original. ok, ill buy that. anyhoo, i hadnt heard much of the remake in a while, so this bit of news is coo to hear.

totally agree with the still to motion issue, but i’m still feeling the wrong vibe from the trailer.
i’ll still see it either way as well so i guess they win 🙁
hmm… maybe that’s why hollywood is going down the shitter. they don’t have to make a good movie. they just have to make it good enough to peak someone’s interest.
