ah…photo friday-ing after a 2 week hiatus. one of my favorite (and earliest) medium format pics. you dont think this is too straight-forward, do you? *shrug* one of my first attempts at using a hasselblad and i kind of over-exposed the negative. by alot. oops. damn those tricky light meters. but the image was in there…the exposure time just had to be kicked up a little. to i think…3 minutes? hence the burned-out edges. word.

hmm…childhood. tough one. short of putting up embarrassing photos of my pre-adolescence, i thought this would be a nice entry. its the train platform at kuang-fu, taiwan…my mothers hometown and where i was raised briefly before we hauled our butt over to the united states. kuang-fus a small rural town near the city of hualien in central taiwan where alot of indigenous san-di (mountain) people still live. its become a bit of a tourist spot in recent years, but other than the highway and some modernizations, the town hasnt changed all that much in 20something years.

woo…my first “work” photo entry. interior shot of the glass fin curtain wall of the goldman sachs tower being built in jersey city right now. i dont particularly like visiting that site because they make us wear hard hats and construction boots…which crushed my hair and i didnt have (oops…shhh…)
