this bit o’ info is a little late (for those who were following the kasparov game)…but, it was a tie! kasparov forced a draw on the last game in some crazy mofo chess playing. even tho it was a draw, there was some mad chess-schooling from kasparov…even when he was playing black! i personally think he wouldve owned deep junior if he didnt succumb to his humanistic ways and take pity on the poor machine.

hoo boy, ok…humans are about to be relegated to history with the dinosaurs and skidz pants. kasparov drew game 5! crack…the game is now still tied at 2.5-2.5. and kasparov will be playing black in the final game. not lookin’ good. that computer deep junior is really scaring me. didja see move 10? holy shit, that was evil. hmm…i might lose my bet with fish. crap.

anyway, if anyone has been following the kasparov-v-deep junior matches…isnt that some amazing shit? all bow before the chess master that is kasparov. ive been trying to study his moves at wired.com, and i jus fail to comprehend some of his more advanced tactics. i have a looooong way to go. as an aside, i played my friend last nite. i won…but with a manuever i had set up about 20 moves prior. i hate winning from fortunate accidents. grr. i pretty much forgot about my setup (my bishop in front of a rook lined up against his open king)…so when his queen came down my side and i attacked her with the bishop (coincidentally opening the attack line from my rook to his king), i was like…”eh? sweet!” it was over after that. such an empty win. so empty…

holy flaming arses…kasparov lost game 3. if ppl didnt kno, the 6 game match is tied now at 1.5-1.5 (second match was a draw)…and all of humanity hinges on that crazy russian’s shoulders. ok, mebbe its not as dramatic as that. but u kno, if he loses…we’re jus one step away from the matrix. yup…batteries, man. batteries.
