i think this is pretty hot news. kung-fu cult cinema reports today that both sandra bullock and keanu reeves have signed on to do il mare, a remake of the korean movie siworae, also known as il mare. helmed by alejandro agresti with a script by david auburn, il mare is about two people who are able to exchange letters even tho theyre separated by 2 years. think frequency meets you’ve got mail, except alot more subtle and smooth. the korean il mare was definitely an excellent movie (with korean cutie ji-hyun jun)…and while im a bit skeptical about both bullock and reeves (nothing against them, but i just had differing casting choices in my mind), im still curious to see how the movie turns out. now where the hell is my sassy girl?
Damn.. what’s with hollywood ripping asian movies plots?! Infernal Affairs is going to be remade too starring Leo Di Caprio and Matt Damon. It will be interesting to see though. I have some korean friends who have recommended il mare to me. Anyhoo its been awhile since i’ve dropped by your journal, and for a while there, the page is blank . so weird. u need a preloader!

theyre apparently going all out with the infernal affairs remake. brad pitt was rumoured to be attached too, tho i havent heard much lately. im interested to see how it turns out, since scorseses helming.
as for il mare…quite recommended. tho i admittedly have a soft-spot for ji-hyun jun.
damn.. i had a commercial with her in it. but i deleted the movie. i was just looking for it. Ah maybe next time. 🙂

NO!! that one is really weird! I have the one where she is doing a commercial for a printing company. She dances like a nut but at the same time looks so damn cute!
