damnit…bugger boy tien got to see eternal sunshine of the spotless mind last nite! damn youz. (as green glazes over my eyes) seriously, why do i never get a chance to see pre-screenings? i mean…i lived like 2 blocks from a theater for 6 months, and not once did i ever get a chance to see a pre-screening. ive passed by plenty of people numerous times who had tickets for pre-screenings, but i hated them too. there was a sneak preview for the girl next door a few weeks ago…but i gave that up to have movie nite with friends (who ended up falling asleep). and besides…sneak previews arent the same as pre-screenings. poot.
people, i am a movie fanatic. not at the disturbingingly unhealthy level of harry knowles of aint it cool news or anything, but its still a relatively unhealthy film enthusiasm. please invite me to pre-screenings. pleeease. for good movies too…i dont want to be seeing no tween crap like mean girls or 13 going on 30. so if you have pre-screenings for hellboy, sky captain, or shrek 2, please send tickets my way.
sank you.

ha! nice. friends that work in the “industry”…that’s how. i also saw the elf as a screening and pieces of april and the station agent. i think that’s it though.
sadly…amongst my friends, i should be the one in the movie industry. poot.
one day halo. if i ever get pre-screening tickets, i will send em your way.
wooha!
you talk and nag like a little bitch.
are you done? be sure to pick up a complimentary bag of bugger off on your way out.
yo.
this is off topic. but i just discovered http://www.listen.com it is so fucking amazing.
they organize every song from every artist and every album (almost). create a little webpage of each musicician listing their contemporaries, who influenced them, and who they influenced. and have little music history blurbs on them with
photos.
you can listen to this highly organized set of music tracks at just a click of a button. streaming in no DL required.
i just grabbed 100 albums already in the first hour. and i piped my speaker out of my PC into my MD player and just DL’d entire albums.
4 clicks of my mouse button and i told the program to play all of outkasts songs ever. organized by album… chronologically, and stuck
it on 2 long play MDs.
for $7 a month!?? wtf!?!? i’m going nutz on this thing. this is wrong. and addictive. =(
but good too.

Eh, sometimes friends in the ‘industry’ is overrated. You still need to master a total lack of shame and be skilled in the art of begging and for what? First row in the screening for Terminator 3… sad.
But other times, your bad ass coworker comes to you in the morning and say things like “Hey, Matrix Reloaded screening tonight, you down?”
Best to make friends with publicists or those who have friends who are publicists, they hold the key to them screening invites.
nice derrick…i might take a look b/c ive been looking for new music for a while now. tho i did something weird last nite. i ordered a cd! like a real one too! not blank or anything…wow.
and keith, publicists eh? hmm, must go…make nice with publicists…
yeah. i know what you talking about. the guy i shot a film for dates a news reporter for http://www.cinecon.com … and she gets pre-screening all the time to do reviews… and he was busy so one day he passed his ticket to me… i got to see “a man apart” 2 weeks early. i felt like the shit. … uhhhh.
