back at work after a week-ish long mini-vacation…and it also happens to be the new lunar year of the monkey today. 4071 on some calendars, 4072 on others. whew. according to ancient chinese astrological scholars, the monkey is hairy and likes to smell its own ass. how this relates to the new year, i dont know. but whatever. so with this second new year comes a second round of new years resolution revisions…

hey mr. librarian.. tried watching samurai fiction last night but it gets stuck at chapter 40 to the end. i want my money back.
damn u and ur dvd player then. i dunno whats wrong with chap40…its a brand new dvd. if you want, just give the surface a quick wipe. if it still get stuck, then just fast forward ahead of the part that gets stuck. sometimes fast forwarding “smooths” over the stuck part.
