after watching stereo future, a friend of mine mentioned that oxygen bars (like the one in the movie, but decidedly less swishy) actually existed. id never actually seen one but wanted to, to see if they were as *wallpaper coo as the one in stereo future, complete with towa tei mannequins. apparently they are not. an article on cnn featured an oxygen bar on the university of nebraska campus that regularly dispensed 97% pure oxygen with hints of lavender and strawberries to students and overweight hipsters with caddy hats. while this is a coo idea, i was hoping that they could dispense it in those coo hand-held and full-face inhalers in the movie…not the florida retirement home-style noseplugs. im thinking they dont have towa tei mannequins either…
