chinese moon festival 2003
cripes…its already the moon festival?! the moon festival is supposed to be the full moon closest to the fall equinox…which is today. as such the moon festival’s relatively early this year. with every tradition, theres the legend behind the tradition…so here’s the account of the moon festival legend. so theres this fairy named chang-er, this wood cutter named wu-kang, and this rabbit…….geez, wait. its too lengthy and makes no sense. lets just stick to the whole full moon and fall equinox thingy. eat mooncake and luv it.
some info if you’re curious > moon festival

Mmmm…mooncake. wait a minute – i don’t even like mooncake. what the hell kind of dessert is a heavily salted egg imbeded in flaky crust??
or maybe i’m thinking of the chinese salted egg festival…
nah…ur right. me personally…i think mooncakes are awful. i prefer those lil cakes with pineapple inside. yum.
was I drunk when I wrote that? that’s the worst spelling of “embedded” i’ve ever seen.
but yeah, the pineapple ones are much better.
i mustve been drunk too…i didnt even notice that.
