unboring

ikea must have tapped into the consciousness’ of all post-college grads when they targeted their demographics. its like they kno what we want. cheap, presentable, and semi-reliable furniture! ok, sure the second u disassemble something, the insides melt and self-erode to nothing-ness. but thats it…within the initial construction, its functionable, semi-sturdy, and pretty aesthetic. so i have abt $400 worth of boxes laying in the corner whispering, “screw a in slot b.” its nearly 2:00pm and im still sitting here in front of my computer procrastinating. i jus wrote my friend ags a “guide to firenze!” b/c she’ll be there in 3 days. ah…firenze. wish i could be there with her to show her the sites personally. but hey, everybody has their time. i was there 3 years ago, and prolly didnt appreciate it as much as i do in hindsight. that always seems to be the case, no? anyhoo, i can already see this post wandering off-topic, so ill cut it off here. basta!

ok, so is anybody else as disillusioned with music these days as me? im looking at my playlist at the moment, and alot of the stuff is years old now. u ask me to name some mainstream artists and id give u a blank look. im that bad now. is that how generation gaps are made? thru music? ive always wondered. alot of these songs ive listened to for years now…mostly b/c i like them that much. but also b/c there hasnt really been anything new to interest me. i think the newest addition to my playlist is emiliana torrini…thanx to my friend fish. the other stuff tho…all over the place. shit, even electric light orchestra made the list…thanx to that volkswagen commercial. i cant get it out of my head…*shiver* hey…there…mr. blue…we’re so pleased to be with you…ack! okily, recommendations?
