{"id":953,"date":"2005-04-25T09:40:28","date_gmt":"2005-04-25T09:40:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.m3ntalcontraband.com\/?p=953"},"modified":"2020-11-05T15:12:58","modified_gmt":"2020-11-05T20:12:58","slug":"weekend_nothings_and_superman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/m3ntal.halleytsai.com\/?p=953","title":{"rendered":"weekend nothings and superman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text-paragraph\">[ <b>audio selection<\/b> | avalanches \u2013 <i>etoh<\/i> ]<br>per usual, i didnt do much this past weekend. partially because of the odd spring weather (40 degrees?) and partially because of no reason whatsoever. so instead of talking about what i did (nothing) last weekend, ill point out this coming weekend. big\u2019ole family gathering this saturday, with hopefully a showing of <i>hitchhikers guide<\/i> squeezed in before then. the start of the biking season will probably have to wait another week or so\u2026after this one and hopefully when the damn weather warms up again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-paragraph\"><b>SUPER UNRELATED<\/b><br>so while im at it, i figured that id also toss this in here. its pretty interesting\u2026a pic of the brand new <a href=\"http:\/\/filmforce.ign.com\/superman\/articles\/606\/606824p1.html?fromint=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">superman<\/a>. no more iron-on \u201cS\u201d insignia, and the fabrics got some funky quilted bounty quicker-picker-upper texture to it. i dunno what to think of it honestly\u2026its semi-classic supes. but i was never much of a fan of the classic supes, so i wouldve been in the (admittedly small) minority that wouldnt mind a bit of a modern update. beyond a new insignia and belt buckle that is. anywho\u2026its interesting to say the least. its been a very long time since theres been a superman on the big screen\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-paragraph\">&gt;
