i was just watching lost in translation<\/i> again last nite (it makes for relaxing background scenery\/noise), so i thought id transfer this coo giant robot<\/a> article from the magazine to the web. issue 33<\/b> had a coo feature about the myriad of cameos in the movie (page 21), especially in the night club, house party, and karaoke scenes\u2026and they got their friend kunichi nomura (who also cameo\u2019d) to identify the people for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

01<\/strong>. kunichi nomura (kun), writer, dj, and part of the sputnik empire (a mag).<\/p>\n

02<\/strong>. akiko monou\u2026yum. the current number one on the 2004 hotness list<\/a>, akikos referred to as \u201cp\u201d (her nickname) in the movie. charlie brown (fumihiro hayashi) is the editor-in-chief of the fashion mag dune<\/em>.<\/p>\n

03<\/strong>. hiroshi fujiwara is a fashion designer.<\/p>\n

04<\/strong>. ohno, the dude with the japanese fro, is the press person for hysteric glamour<\/em>.<\/p>\n

05<\/strong>. hiroko kawasaki is a coordinator and friend of sophia coppolas.<\/p>\n

06<\/strong>. akiko monou again (yum) and noriko seto, press person for rico<\/em>, a fashion brand. both are longtime friends of kun and regulars at the sputnik beach house<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

09<\/strong>. junpei katsumi is the head cook of the sputnik beach house<\/em>.<\/p>\n

10<\/strong>. nobuhiko kitamura is the director of hysteric glamour<\/em>, and his wife nao is to the left of him.<\/p>\n

11<\/strong>. unknown\u2026but hes smiling because he gets to cuddle with p-chan.<\/p>\n
