{"id":579,"date":"2004-04-22T09:21:45","date_gmt":"2004-04-22T09:21:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.m3ntalcontraband.com\/?p=579"},"modified":"2020-11-09T13:28:07","modified_gmt":"2020-11-09T18:28:07","slug":"sky_captain_day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/m3ntal.halleytsai.com\/?p=579","title":{"rendered":"sky captain day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text-paragraph\">good and bad news came out of the <i>sky captain<\/i> camp today. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinescape.com\/0\/editorial.asp?aff_id=0&amp;this_cat=Movies&amp;action=page&amp;type_id=&amp;cat_id=270338&amp;obj_id=41331\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">cinescape<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aintitcool.com\/display.cgi?id=17408\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">aicn<\/a> both reported today that the premiere for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.skycaptain.com\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sky captain and the world of tomorrow<\/a> has been pushed back to september 17th, from its original release on june 25th. while the movie looks very coo, the studios didnt want to pit <i>sky captain<\/i> against the release of <i>spider-man 2<\/i>, which was set to open just 5 days after its original release date. so\u2026poot, an extra three months wait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-paragraph\">the small consolation prize however was that along with the news came a new set of images from the movie. they feature alot of large stills from the movie of sky captain (law), franky (jolie), dex (ribisi), and polly (paltrow), as well as new images of bai lings character, the sky captains p-40 warhawk, and one of the futuristic flying attack ships. very swish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-paragraph\">&gt;
