{"id":463,"date":"2004-02-26T15:38:38","date_gmt":"2004-02-26T15:38:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.m3ntalcontraband.com\/?p=463"},"modified":"2020-11-10T16:35:24","modified_gmt":"2020-11-10T21:35:24","slug":"cho_chang_casting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/m3ntal.halleytsai.com\/?p=463","title":{"rendered":"cho chang casting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text-paragraph\">with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.m3ntalcontraband.com\/journal\/archives\/000469.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">prisoner of azkaban<\/a> nearly finished, production and casting has already started on the 4th <i>harry potter<\/i> movie, <i>the goblet of fire<\/i>. so they already have a new director\u2026mike newell (<i>donnie brasco<\/i>, <i>four weddings and a funeral<\/i>\u2026), and theyve already begun casting some of the new characters like viktor krum and cho chang. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hpana.com\/news.17913.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">hpana<\/a> (via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.veritaserum.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">veritaserum<\/a>) had a chance to talk to one of the 36 finalists for the role of cho chang\u2026a girl named valerie who traveled 6 hours from scotland to audition. the initial audition was rather boring and pedestrian, but the follow-up workshop\u2026which consisted of numerous \u201cactivities\u201d\u2026seemed a little weird. anyhoo, valerie is only one of the 36 finalists\u2026but shes pretty cute. cute that is, in that \u201c<i>shes a minor and therefore stated in a platonic, non-offending<\/i>\u201c-manner. *ahem* personally, my pick for cho chang wouldve been <a href=\"http:\/\/www.m3ntalcontraband.com\/journal\/archives\/000445.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">akiko monou<\/a>. sure shes not chinese (korean?), and shes probably twice as old as cho chang should be. but they can work around it. ok, maybe not. itll still be interesting to see who they get for cho\u2026because she\u2019ll get to go pms on harry in the 5th movie\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-paragraph\">&gt;
