its one thing to be accustomed to ur plans going poo\u2026but its kinda even more eery when plans go accordingly\u2026complex ones too. as if the world preferred stupidly complex over happy simplicity. anyhoo\u2026during the week, me, fish, and fonz had been planning for some tea and chess for sat\u2026.jus for shits and giggles. getting everybody to coordinate tho\u2026thats bleh. so i call up fonz first. he makes his way over from hoboken, and we lunch on chow kueh tow at the singaporean cafe. after eating too much, we scour c-town for over-priced import toys and obscure asian cinema. fish finally gets off work and makes his way into manhattan\u2026so we meet up at my apt and then head up to the tea box at takashimaya. after 2 pots of green tea and an embarrassing game of chess, we wander around midtown, and then receive word that the almighty langa will make an appearance soon too. huzzah! we head down to go <\/b>in st marks for some japanese luvin\u2019 and get seated shortly after langa arrives. everything is eerily compliant and non-stressful. im guessing the gods of pooing-on-my-plans let up this one weekend. after din, fish heads off\u2026and the rest of us head up to the upper west-side to hit an irish pub w\/friends of langa. yea, i kno\u2026i dont like pubs in general\u2026but hey, its for friends. i got to be the snob dressed all in black in the corner glaring at everyone. that lasted til 3ish\u2026and i jus slept my way thru sunday. yea\u2026so thats it. no clever conclusion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
