class=\"text-paragraph\">usually at about this time during any given week, my mind putters out and i generally have nothing to talk about. this has been compounded lately by the blisteringly frigid wind that drops the temperature from \u201c<i>ouch, fuck<\/i>\u201d to \u201c<i>holy fucking arse!<\/i>\u201c\u2026and in turn numbs 42% of the higher brain functions. case in point today. my company wanted to do another coo little holiday card to send to our clients and associates, but we kind of decided upon this a little later than usual\u2026so we\u2019re a bit rushed in its production. tien drove me out to one of our job sites in manhattan today with our mini-christmas tree in tow. when i made <a href=\"http:\/\/www.m3ntalcontraband.com\/design\/uad_card1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">last years card<\/a>, i had in my mind something along the lines of the traveling gnome in <i>amelie<\/i>. if i could, id just have it globe trot with a stewardess named philom\u00e8ne\u2026standing in front of big ben, la sagrada familia, or some power rangers in tokyo. but its more desirable to have it you know\u2026actually next to one of our projects. last year it visited the dag hammarskjold plaza near the united nations, and this year our tree paid a visit to the greenwich street project. except the sun angle wasnt at what id hoped itd be, and there werent really any easy angles to shoot from, and we were 7 stories up the building\u2026outside where the ice wind was burning my face. super fucking awesome. and i couldnt really see the shots either that i was taking since the angles were low against the ground. anyhoo\u2026hope the card turns out better than the picture i currently have of it in my mind. hmm, wait\u2026when did the christmas tree
