{"id":226,"date":"2003-10-13T00:10:38","date_gmt":"2003-10-13T00:10:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.m3ntalcontraband.com\/?p=226"},"modified":"2020-11-11T13:36:05","modified_gmt":"2020-11-11T18:36:05","slug":"berfday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/m3ntal.halleytsai.com\/?p=226","title":{"rendered":"berfday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text-paragraph\"><b>current selection<\/b> | <i>animatrix in the background<\/i><br><b>feelin\u2019<\/b> | <i>stuffed<\/i><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-paragraph\">so full\u2026cant move. oochies. liz\u2019s bday was this weekend, so we went drinky drink saturday nite. i met up with betty beforehand along houston, and we started heading westward to look for the moroccan bar everybody was meeting at\u2026<i>chez es\u2019saada<\/i>. we stumble on the unmarked bar after i realized that id been there once before\u2026otherwise we mightve jus kept wandering pathetically around the neighborhood. 4 \u2018generations\u2019 of cornell archies were there\u2026including my year. alcohol was free-flowing, as it should be during bday celebrations\u2026and i got mojitos since theyre particularly yum there. we headed to <i>drinkland<\/i> afterwards for more drinky and didnt get there til 3am. more alcohol and some crazy ass-shaking. liz and some ppl headed onwards to <i>arc<\/i> to see ken ishii. the rest of us stumbled home. im jus grateful that i live around the corner from <i>drinkland<\/i>. cant\u2026feel\u2026parietal lobe\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-paragraph\">sundays brunch with anna was rainchecked b\/c of a mild hangover on my part, and a bigger one on hers. so i jus doted around the apt all day, watching <i>matrix reloaded<\/i>, <i>harry potter <\/i>extras, and the <i>animatrix<\/i>. dinner plans were set with liz and the crew (her actual bday was sunday), so we met up in k-town and headed to <i>kum gang san<\/i>. we ordered an assload of good shit\u2026kimchi pajun, jap chae, kalbi, mandoo gui, ohjing uh bokkum, and soon tofu chige\u2026yuuuum. all while a performer in a hanbok was rocking \u201c<i>hey jude<\/i>\u201d on the zither. craziness. afterwards, we strolled over to a coffee shop\/bakery down the street and ordered overpriced eats. $4 teas for everybody\u2026a swishy $7 mocha shake for me. as good as it was, i didnt think it was $7 good. mebbe $3 good\u2026or possibly $4\u2026but def not $7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"545\" height=\"195\" src=\"https:\/\/m3ntal.halleytsai.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/kumgang1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6526\" srcset=\"https:\/\/m3ntal.halleytsai.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/kumgang1.jpg 545w, https:\/\/m3ntal.halleytsai.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/kumgang1-300x107.jpg 300w, https:\/\/m3ntal.halleytsai.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/kumgang1-250x89.jpg 250w, https:\/\/m3ntal.halleytsai.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/kumgang1-503x180.jpg 503w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 545px) 100vw, 545px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-paragraph\">didnt have a dig cam, k?
