{"id":211,"date":"2003-09-29T09:35:17","date_gmt":"2003-09-29T09:35:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.m3ntalcontraband.com\/?p=211"},"modified":"2020-11-11T13:43:19","modified_gmt":"2020-11-11T18:43:19","slug":"cin3matic_overload","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/m3ntal.halleytsai.com\/?p=211","title":{"rendered":"cin3matic overload"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text-paragraph\">shit\u2026where to begin. new trailers that debuted over the weekend include a new teaser for katsuhiro (<i>akira<\/i>) otomo\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.steamboy.net\/trailer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">steamboy<\/a>, the new <a href=\"http:\/\/asp.mov3.com\/trailer\/quicktime.asp?mov_id=1209&amp;link=link3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">infernal affairs 2<\/a> (a prequel), and a trailer for the upcoming movie <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thealamomovie.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the alamo<\/a>, all c\/o <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aintitcool.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">aicn<\/a>. i thought id throw in that last one about the alamo b\/c i used to study it all the time as a kid growing up in texas. for anybody out there who isnt familiar with the alamo (read: the majority of the country), its a fort in san antonio thats an important part of texas history. the alamo was one of the last famous battles of the texan war of independence after texas declared independence from mexico. the battle of alamo also involved prominent figures from american folklore, including davy crockett and jim bowie. least to say, it wasnt one of the happier battles, unless u happened to be the mexican general santa anna. anyhoo, if youre curious, check out the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thealamo.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">official alamo web page<\/a> for the not-so-happy accounts of the final battles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-paragraph\">last, but not least\u2026a hi-res trailer for <b>the return of the king<\/b> hasnt been released yet, but a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.themoviebox.net\/trailers\/moviebox_trailers\/rotk_tr_page.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">lo-res version<\/a> has. fell beasts kicking rohan riders asses\u2026aragorn looking macho (yay, i have a new sword!)\u2026and gandalf laying down some whoop-ass. im getting all sorts of funny feelings watching it\u2026some shivers, mebbe a tear or two. you could say im a little excited. whew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-paragraph\"><b>addendum<\/b><br>there is also the <a href=\"http:\/\/img-nex.theonering.net\/movies\/rotk_asian_trailer_sept26.mov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">chinese trailer<\/a> on the web. it isnt the hi-res version either, but it does have crisper sound.
