i was doting around the internet today and decided for some odd reason to follow this link to a band that did a metal cover of the soundtrack to one of my favorite games of all time. so i thought id take today to espouse one of the greatest video games in the entire glorious history of gaming. what game eh\u2026doom<\/i>? kings quest<\/i>? no u fuckhead\u2026im referring to star control 2<\/b>. earths enslaved, and you\u2019re the captain of a big stonkin\u2019 ship sent to kick everybodys ass and save the universe. rockin\u2019 gameplay, rockin\u2019 soundtrack, and one of the most epic storylines in a video game\u2026not to mention some of the best dialogue ever written (die, slugboy!<\/i>) toys for bob<\/a> has been diligently working on a freeware version of star control 2<\/b> for some time now (technically called the ur-quan masters<\/b>\u2026theyre at 0.2alpha\u2026check it out!) so go download it and get all nostalgic for the glory days of gaming. here\u2019s to fwiffo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
