we\u2019re outside a bar discussing where we were off to next, and down the street, a retard is trying to park his lexus suv over mounds of snow and ice.\u00a0 we\u2019re chuckling at the crunching sounds emanating from his vicinity, as he vainly tries to pose\/park his suv atop his conquered mountain.\u00a0 the dude really seems to want to park there.\u00a0 whatever.\u00a0 a bit later, as we\u2019re still mulling what we were doing, the guy from the lexus climbs out and starts hollering out \u201cwhats so funny??<\/i>\u201d in a douchey faux-intimidating voice.\u00a0 i hear it, but think to myself, dumbass can\u2019t possibly be directing it at us\u2026his skin can\u2019t be that thin and his dick can\u2019t be that inverted.\u00a0 he calls it out again, and i holler back \u201ci don\u2019t know??<\/i>\u201d more was to follow, but the people i was with started displaying nervousness and telling me to stop provoking him.\u00a0 i\u2019m going\u2026.really?\u00a0 you\u2019re scared some altercation will occur because the tool over there doesn\u2019t like people belittling his shit parking abilities and i decide to yell back??\u00a0 they press it anyway, so i refrain and we walk off, as i\u2019m completely incredulous at their absolute prostration.\u00a0 \u201ci\u2019ve heard people get really beat up because of those situations!<\/i>\u201d one points out as i\u2019m thinking to myself that this was unlikely, and i would\u2019ve continued my jeering if not for their skittishness.\u00a0 i\u2019ve also heard people get mugged in the subway, but i still take the subway anyway.\u00a0 i live in east harlem.\u00a0 it\u2019s quaint, but not entirely super.\u00a0 i live in east harlem, and a yuppy jackass driving a lexus with new jersey license plates is hardly going to intimidate and\/or faze me.\u00a0 east harlem, people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
i wish i could tell those friends to have a bit of faith in my ability to discern danger from bluster.\u00a0 they\u2019re quiet easy to differentiate, you know?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
