USELESS HEADER<\/b>
it\u2019s been a fairly quiet couple of weeks, january and february.\u00a0 my first attempt to see my new niece josie was thwarted by a massive snow poop.\u00a0 then my niece may\u2019s bday celebrations were snowed out too by passing snowstorms (whups), which in turn pushed our backlogged plans into my dad\u2019s 60th birthday vicinity.\u00a0 eventually we just met up this past weekend to consolidate my seeing my new niece for the first time, may\u2019s birthday (well\u2026really just giving her her gift), and a lunch for my dad.\u00a0 silly weather\u2026stop fucking up my plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I WENT OUT<\/b>
prior to that tho was the usual smattering of dinners and drinkage, amongst them ippudo<\/i> with sara (wow\u2026finally.\u00a0 fuck you ippudo<\/i>), le singe vert<\/i> with margie, and harefield road<\/i> drinkage for fonz and erin\u2019s post-wedding celebrations (even tho they married over a month ago).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
THIRD PLACE<\/b>
as a random aside too, while we were hanging out at my parents house this past weekend, i went digging thru my room for some things i\u2019d left behind when i moved to my new apartment.\u00a0 and by chance i came across a bronze track medal i won my freshman year (the only medal i won during my short but illustrious career).\u00a0 so of course i snatched it up to bring home.\u00a0 my brother-in-law dave mentioned how they don\u2019t really give out medals anymore.\u00a0 instead they give trophies to the school.\u00a0 i\u2019m thinking to myself, wow\u2026that sucks. so much for individual achievements.\u00a0 not to mention the medals pretty boss.\u00a0 anyhoo, it\u2019s going on display somehow in my apartment.\u00a0 maybe i\u2019ll frame it.\u00a0 woot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
