{"id":1184,"date":"2007-07-02T14:28:10","date_gmt":"2007-07-02T14:28:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.m3ntalcontraband.com\/?p=1184"},"modified":"2020-11-04T13:30:41","modified_gmt":"2020-11-04T18:30:41","slug":"hookers_and_chinese_food","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/m3ntal.halleytsai.com\/?p=1184","title":{"rendered":"hookers and chinese food"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text-paragraph\">fine fine\u2026heres the obligatory journal post. *<i>grumble<\/i>* so ive been in amsterdam a week now. the first week was akin to living in some weird dutch version of a <i>real world<\/i> house\u2026given that christa (who was here prior to me and whose time overlapped with mine) and dano (our resident IT guy) were all here at our office\/house too. btw, this place is pretty rockin\u2019\u2026the first two stories are the offices, with a few residential rooms sprinkled about and on the top two floors. it doesnt hurt that we\u2019re in a pretty nice area of amsterdam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-paragraph\">given the larger-than-usual crowd at the house, we went out pretty much every night\u2026the best we could anyway, given it <u>frickin\u2019 rained everyday<\/u>. we roamed the canals, checked out the village and windmills around the zaanse schans, ate in chinatown (<i>new king<\/i>\u2026yum), and swung by the red light district too!
