{"id":1062,"date":"2005-11-02T09:19:15","date_gmt":"2005-11-02T09:19:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.m3ntalcontraband.com\/?p=1062"},"modified":"2020-11-04T18:57:07","modified_gmt":"2020-11-04T23:57:07","slug":"pa_vs_jt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/m3ntal.halleytsai.com\/?p=1062","title":{"rendered":"pa vs. jt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text-paragraph\">we chose a theme song for my art director the other day. for a while she insisted mine was supercar\u2019s <i>strobolights<\/i>\u2026mostly because itunes seemed to like playing it over and over. that was soon revised to orb\u2019s <i>pink fluffy dinosaurs<\/i> for god only knows what reason. so i fig\u2019d fine\u2026if my theme song\u2019s going to be fluffy dinosaurs, hers is deejay punk-roc\u2019s <i>i hate everybody<\/i>. because for crissakes\u2026some of the seething hate that spews from her mouth\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-paragraph\"><b>JACK THOMPSON IS A FUCKNUT<\/b><br>in funnier news\u2026for the gamer population out there, this\u2019ll be familiar. jack thompson, the anti-gamer attorney, has gone <a href=\"http:\/\/wired.com\/news\/games\/0,2101,69404,00.html?tw=wn_tophead_2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fucknuts<\/a> and is asking that the fbi investigate the creators of the webcomic <a href=\"http:\/\/www.penny-arcade.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">penny arcade<\/a> for supposed \u201cextortion\u201d\u2026that the articles on their site \u201c<i>appear to violate state and federal laws.<\/i>\u201d bwahaha\u2026attention-starved lawyers going after gaming-themed web comics. quick summary of this craziness: jack thompson is a tool, goes after gamers. makes some kind of offer to donate $10k to a charity if a game is made featuring the killing of game execs (read the article for the reason why). pa thinks jacks a douche, and donates $10k anyway to their charity called \u201cchilds play\u201d in jacks name. fans of penny arcade and other various web comics\/friends of pa go ape-shit on jack. jack gets pissy, needs more friends, and starts crying to feds\u2026etc etc. does anybody else think this is sadly retarded?
